Ik dronk laatst op een avond twee weisbier naturtrüb. Eerst een Franziskaner en daarna een Benediktiner. De Franziskaner smaakte zachter dan de Benedikter. De Benedikter leek meer koolzuurprik te hebben en smaakte wat wranger.

Benediktiner Weissbier

Volgens mij is een Weizen geen Wit, dus de omschrijving slaat de plank mis. Een Belgisch witbier kan kruiden bevatten, terwijl de Duitse weizen dat zeker niet heeft, zelfs al heeft het een kruidige smaak.

Franziskaner Naturtrub

So I’ve fallen in love with this beer. Recently I heard it’s considered a joke in Germany, not very good.

Is that true? And if so what’s considered better? ... IMHO it's not bad. But it's from a big brewery that's connected to a huge corporation, and those aren't well received. People tend to prefer their little local breweries. The best wheat beer is Günzburger Weizen, anybody who disagrees can fight me. ... in germany a lot of people make jokes about "radler ist kein bier" (mixed beers are no beer) so i think you drunk a naturtrüb radler. If you call that a beer in germany they make fun of you and I think that's the case in this one. ... It is a perfectly fine beer in my opinion.

Augustinerbräu is also nice. If you go for a Hefeweizen as they are called you will most likely end up with a bavarian beer. Just try them and see what you like. ... Nah, it's ok, nothing special like something from a small brewery, but a good and well known Weizen. Tja Bitburger is kleiner dan Anheuser-Busch InBev.... maar Franziskaner Naturtrüb vind ik tioch lekkerder smaken dan Benediktiner Naturtrüb...
