UDB Stout

 Ik dronk dus laatst in het café een stout van Moersleutel. Ik had er een gekozen die geen Pastry Stout was, maar het was nog steeds zoet. Wat is dat toch met al die nieuwe bieren?

Een dag of wat later dronk ik een stout van Trio Brouwerij van UDB.

Een stout lijkt mij eenvoudig in te delen als stout? In plaats van internationaal? Is een pilsje uit Tsjechië of Jamaica soms niet internationaal? Misschien nog wel internationaler dan Breda!?

Bescheidenheid is volgens mij niet waar UDB om bekend is. De stout smaakt zwaar en heeft watgebrande moutsnaak waarmee het zich onderscheidt van de herfstbok die ik ervoor op had. De geur is zoet en de smaak is worterig, maar niet zoet. Moutig en moutige afdronk. Lichte tot geen koolzuurprikkeling.
